You guys can hate Furuya all you want but the rivalry is real. They both got so good because they keep pushing eachother. And having 2 beasts on one team is awesome, I cant wait to see what happens next :)

I agree so much! I love both of their characters as rivals! Like the legendary rivalries (e.g. Naruto and Sasuke, Vegeta and Goku), Furuya and Eijun push each other to improve from their successes and provide a balance to each other since they bring different strengths and weaknesses to the table.

I'm actually glad Furuya messes up lately making room for Eijun to shine but I don't want him to get permanently injured (luckily not the case) as we definitely need that friendly rivalry to push them to the next level

what i love about their rivalry is that they don't do things to bring each other down

i mean, there may have times that, "i wanted to pitch for that game."

but all they do about it is to improve themselves and use the rivalry as a motivation to be better.

Sawamura is amazing and I'd love to see him pitching like a true ace from now on, but the author is a fan of Furuya.

I love how Sawamura keeps pushing Furuya to keep him motivated for the fight back.

I think Ochiai messed up big time when he told Furuya that he can be the best pither in Japan.

Miyuki's way of words sometimes come across as very candid yet snarky, but that's okay too,

No one motivates Furuya better than Eijun, and no one motivates Eijun better than Furuya. Their rivalry is always that of support and being able to rise up together.
